    Genial el artículo para abrir las posibilidades a todo aquel que no haya pensado en los vídeos, y Youtube en concreto, como método de contenidos y captar clientes/visitas. Igualmente disto en varios puntos.
    Youtube, igual que muchas otras cosas, no es la panacea y no todo el contenido encaja igual. Una persona tiene que trabajárselo muy bien, como todo, para obtener unos resultados. Los suscriptores del canal no es como si están suscritos a tu newsletter. Tu no tienes su correo personal ni puedes personalizar el mensaje ni hablar con ellos en privado. Hay ciertas herramientas que facilitan ese contacto pero no están abiertas a cualquier canal. Es mas, tampoco recibirán un correo notificando que has subido nuevo vídeo a menos que hayan activado las notificaciones específicamente para tu canal. El estar suscrito a este no es igual a recibir la notificación o ver el vídeo.
    Si pones en la descripción o tarjetas del vídeo enlace a tu producto que vendes, no tienen porque verlo. De hecho, si ven el vídeo por el móvil hay menos posibilidades de ello. Así que hay que saber como tratar cada plataforma a su manera.

Muy acertados tus comentarios, en general el problema que comentas es el mismo que existe en otras “redes sociales”, por eso hay que intentar aunar los esfuerzos, por ejemplo incentivando a los seguidores del canal a que se suscriban a la newsletter, y que de esa forma tengamos más oportunidades de hacerles llegar los nuevos vídeos, por ejemplo.
